Post Pinball HD for Mac
I've just downloaded this App V1.2 from the App store for my Macbook, and it seems to have problems rendering. The game may or may not start normally, but always ends up stuttering. I have changed the view to a static full table view and turned off as many audio and visual options I can find, but doesn't seem to help.
I am using 2GHz Intel Core Duo Macbook with 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRam Mac OS X 10.6.6.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Can you tell what kind of graphics card you have? Model and amount of video memory? This can help us to zero in on the source of the problem.

Hi, there is a known issue with Intel cards and we're still working on it for future release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Post Re: Pinball HD for Mac
Hello:

I'm running into the same problem with my Mac mini. I've got 2gb of ram, a 7200rpm hard drive I installed last year, but Pinball HD (v1.3) consistently goes from playable to unplayable / "slideshow" after a few minutes of play. It doesn't appear to matter which graphics settings I select.

Any idea when this known issue with Intel GMA will be addressed? I'm trying to get my son into pinball, but this obviously presents some roadblocks toward that end.

Thanks.

Yes, as I said, we are aware of it and are addressing it already, and we're sorry that this has popped up to inconvenience our users. Whatever the governing perception is, not all Apple HW is intercompatible. We intend to provide a fix in an upcoming update. Also, keep in mind that these updates have to travel through Apple approval to get posted after we release them.
