Post Interesting concept
I finally got a chance to play with the Remote. Synching it to my Mac Mini was simple and effective. The app's interface is clear and easy to use. When I first launched the ball, I was really impressed. The flippers were extremely responsive and jogging the table worked well. But after several seconds of play, the flipper response began to lag considerably (about a half-second). I lost the first ball, launched the second and hit the flipper. It responded instantly. But after that first hit, the flippers got really laggy again. This happened on each ball: the first hit was perfectly synched, but every time after that was out-of-symch. If it will help, here are my Mini's specs:

Model Name: Mac mini
Model Identifier: Macmini3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MM31.00AD.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.35f1

It's version 1.1. I followed the recommendation in another thread to turn on vibration, and that seems to have fixed the problem. My iPhone is now even more responsive in The Pinball than my Mac's keyboard. I still get that occasional black screen though....
